The days of obvious surveillance and video cameras mounted in a corner of a shop are long gone.These old security dinosaurs were made extinct by the emergence of undetectably small systems that run throughout the building, giving security eyes all over the largest store, inside and out. Bored teenagers don’t only mean shoplifting these days, they mean big-time vandalism. A couple of spray painters can spell money down the drain as time, money, and effort is spent erasing what is now gleefully being called “urban art”. Anyone with no business on your property can be identified, run off, or detained for the cops.
